Welcome to the Colonial Heights Sports Backers website!

Our group was formed in the fall of 2005 to provide support to the athletic programs in Colonial Heights, Virginia.  The Colonial Heights Sports Backers is a group of dedicated individuals that volunteer their time to assist the Colonial Heights schools and the Recreation & Parks department in improving their facilities and programs.

The Colonial Heights Sports Backers believes that athletic participation is an important element in the development of the children in Colonial Heights.  Through participation in athletic programs, Colonial Heights youth will learn teamwork and will develop discipline, confidence and character, traits that will serve them later in life.

Sports Backers would like all children in Colonial Heights to participate in athletics.  Our goal is to promote an active life style that will carry over to their adult lives.

We invite you to join Colonial Heights Sports Backers to help us promote improvements to the athletic facilities and programs and to help the young people in our city develop to their full potential.
